LoveConnect ("we", "our", or "us") operates the LoveConnect matchmaking service available through WhatsApp at loveconnectbot.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

When you use LoveConnect, we collect the following information you provide directly:

• Your WhatsApp phone number (used as your account identifier)
• Your first name, age, and gender
• Your country and city
• Your interests (selected from a predefined list)
• Your bio (written by you, max 100 characters)
• Your profile photo (uploaded by you through WhatsApp)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your LoveConnect profile
• To match you with compatible users based on your interests and location
• To send you match notifications and bot responses via WhatsApp
• To facilitate contact sharing only when both users explicitly approve

3. Phone Number Sharing

Your phone number is never shared with other users automatically. Your number is only shared when:

• You and another user have mutually liked each other (matched)
• One user sends an explicit contact request
• The receiving user explicitly approves that request

Both parties must actively consent before any contact information is exchanged.

4. Data Storage

Your profile data is stored securely in Google Firebase Firestore. Your profile photo is stored in Google Firebase Storage. All data is stored with production-level security rules that prevent unauthorized access.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by sending "DELETE" to the LoveConnect bot. Upon deletion, all your profile data and photos are permanently removed within 24 hours.

6. Content Policy

LoveConnect strictly prohibits:

• Explicit or sexual content of any kind
• Nudity in profile photos
• Harassment or abusive behaviour toward other users
• Use of the platform by anyone under 18 years of age

Violations result in immediate permanent account removal.

7. Third Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• WhatsApp Business API (Meta) — for message delivery
• Google Firebase — for data storage

8. Your Rights

• Access your profile data by sending "PROFILE" to the bot
• Edit any profile information via the "SETTINGS" menu
• Delete your account and all data by sending "DELETE"
• Disable notifications by sending "STOP"
• Hide your profile from matches via Settings → Profile Visibility
